Viet Nam has long been the
inspiration for many artists. The stunning natural scenery,
atmospheric cities and unique people makes great subjects. For
travellers, an original watercolour or oil painting makes a
beautiful reminder of Vietnam and can easily be rolled up and taken
home. In Ha Noi the area known has the Old Quarter has many art
galleries. One of these is owned by artistphuong and on this page
you will find some of his works. Phuong is the son of a
distinguished Vietnamese painter :Bùi
Xuân Phái . He has a studio and Gallery Cafe' at 31Cua Dong St-Hanoi. you
can find many of the paintings featured on this site.
Bùi Thanh Phương sinh năm 1956, là con trai thứ của họa sĩ Bùi
Xuân Phái. Phương bắt đầu vẽ tranh từ tuổi niên thiếu, năm 13 tuổi
(1969) đă bán được 3 bức tranh đầu tiên cho nhà sưu tập Đức
Minh.Phương là họa sĩ tự học, anh vẽ tranh ở nhiều mảng đề tài khác
nhau như: phong cảnh, nude, phố cổ, chân dung,...Thang giá trung
b́nh cho 1 tác phẩm của Phương ở thời điểm hiện tại là 3500 USD.
Gallery 31 Cửa Đông là nơi Phương trưng bày tranh của ḿnh. Ngoài ra,
tại 87 Thuốc Bắc (Hà Nội), Phương cũng làm một gallery gia đ́nh
trưng bày những bức tranh c̣n lưu giữ của họa sĩ Bùi Xuân Phái.
